Here’s June’s Horningsea Herald.
What a wonderful village we have (especially when it’s sunny and not raining). We now have the Horningsea Motorcycle Club (HMC) and a brand new playground. Well done to all those who contributed to the rides and the slides!
Congratulations also to everybody who participated in the Short Story competition. The winners are listed inside.
If you want to be kept updated with what’s happening at the potentially smellier end of Horningsea, then there’s a newsletter to subscribe to.
There’s a report from the Church wardens with information on becoming a Friend of St Peter’s Church.
..and it’s Love Your Burial Ground/Churches Count on Nature Week from the 5th – 13 June at St Peter’s Church. St Peter’s Church and the Friends of Horningsea Church have signed up to take part in the national “Churches Count on Nature week”. The idea is to see how much wildlife we can find in our church yard. The national organisers have described churchyards as part of the largest “National Park” in the country.
Here’s to a sunny and social summer.
